Newly expanded and remodeled restaurant gives back
Solon, OH – On Thursday, May 23 Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern in Solon re-opened after closing for a week to finish an expansion and remodel. Rusty Bucket hosted a Grand Re-Opening Charity Day of great success where 20% of all sales went to the Solon Academic Boosters and the Solon Blue Ribbon Special Needs Program. The day was joined by members of the Solon High School National Honor Society and Science Olympiad who came to paint the children’s faces.
The proceeds donated will help the Solon Academic Boosters promote, recognize and reward academic achievement of Solon students. Along with helping the Solon Blue Ribbon Summer Specials Needs Program, provide students with extended school year services and camp activities.
Employees of the Solon City Schools, Solon Community Center, Chamber of Commerce, City Council, Athletic Boosters and more all came to support the local fundraising efforts. With everyone’s attendance Rusty Bucket donated almost $2000 to the rewarding programs.
This neighborhood gathering place showed off their new look of a little over 5,000 total square feet of space and seating for 240 guests. The highlights of the new look include the new private dining room complete with A/V hookup which seats up to 24 guests, a new fireplace feature, new wood tables and chairs, new black leather booths and enhanced lighting. Additional enhancements include, a “video wall” big-screen projection television, that is used as one large screen or individual screens.
The redesign concluded with four additional draft beer lines, including Rogue Root Beer and Sam Adams seasonal, totaling to 16 draft lines to compliment the menu.
