RUSTY BUCKET RESTAURANT & TAVERN ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP TEAM
 
SARASOTA, Florida – Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern, a nationally-recognized brand serving a classic chef-driven American menu, is excited to announce that Ramon Espinal has been named as the new general manager for the Sarasota location. Also added to the leadership team are Juan Marcelo as the executive chef and Bill Dominy as the dining room manager. Collectively, they bring nearly 30 years of industry experience to this Rusty Bucket location.
 
“Ramon is an exemplary leader and brings more than two decades of industry experience to the management team in Sarasota,” said Gary Callicoat, president and founder, Rusty Bucket. “He is always professional and is a true example of how genuine hospitality makes a difference to all people – from his associates to the guests. He continually makes sure that everyone feels like they’re part of a family and provides guests with a positive and rewarding dining experience.”
 
Espinal, born and raised in Bronx, NY, started working in his mom’s restaurant at a young age. He would go in to help his mom and loved it so much that he made it his lifelong career. Early in his career, he started as a dishwasher at Trump Taj Mahal, but finished his tenure there as a key employee. Since then, he has worked as a broil cook, executive chef, and now a general manager for Rusty Bucket. He started working for Rusty Bucket in 2013 and has been nominated for the company’s Executive Chef of the Year Award and awarded the annual Bucket Life Award which is an award given by Callicoat to the associate that is an exemplary example of the Company’s culture.
 
Espinal will be responsible for managing the daily restaurant operations and will lead a team of 44 associates.
 
Joining Espinal on the management team are Marcelo and Dominy who both remarked that they love the culture at Rusty Bucket because of the respect and loyalty the team has for one another.
 
A lifelong resident of Florida, Marcelo realized his passion for the industry while working in restaurant kitchens for popular companies, including the Cheesecake Factory and Sweet Tomato. Marcelo first joined the Rusty Bucket team as a sous chef and has returned now in his new role as executive chef. In this position, Marcelo will oversee all culinary activities for the restaurant.
 
Dominy joined the Rusty Bucket team in 2013 where he worked as the dining room manager at the Hilliard, Ohio location before re-locating to Sarasota. As dining room manager, he will work closely with Espinal in all aspects of the restaurant operation. According to him, his greatest lesson learned in his career is the company’s motto, “Yes is the answer, what is the question?” These are words every associate is taught to live and work by, so each associate can strive to be extraordinary in their personal and professional life.
 
Rusty Bucket is located at 257 N Cattlemen Rd #81, Sarasota, FL 34243 and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 10 pm., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. until 9 p.m. Happy hour specials can also be enjoyed from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
