Rusty Bucket Closing Dayton Restaurant For Renovations

The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern at the Dayton Mall is closing temporarily for renovations, the Dayton Business Journal reports.

The Columbus-based chain will close its only Dayton restaurant Aug. 19 with plans to reopen Sept. 7 with a new look, the latest in a string of refreshes that has included Rusty Buckets in Upper Arlington and Dublin.

The renovation comes shortly before a BJ’s Brewhouse is scheduled to open nearby, the paper reported.

Rusty Bucket has been expanding aggressively recently, including making the leap to Florida next year for what would be its 16th restaurant.
