"Please find the enclosed article that ran in the Plain Dealer a few Sundays ago.  I meant what  I said about the Rusty Bucket.  the one comment that did not make the final cut was the courtesy and friendly service that is extended my family each and every time we visit your establishment.

Growing up in Pontiac, Michigan, just north of Detroit, I was a waiter at a fancy up-scale restaurant.  My dad was a plumber and we never had the money to ever go out as a family and eat at a restaurant.  So when I had the opportunity to wait on people, I did it with a smile and I wanted that experience to be the best they ever had.  When I saw the responses on their faces to great service with a smile it lit up the moment and later my life.  that is exactly what my family receives every time we dine at the Rusty Bucket.  Friday nights are special for us and that's why we continue to return; for the experience, the great service and, of course, the food is delicious.

There was no need for your kind gesture but sincere thanks are in order from each member of my family.  When the surprise desserts were delivered at the end of a wonderfully exciting evening, it stirred our hearts and of course our stomachs.  You laid the groundwork for an extended Father's Day weekend.

"My wife and I went there for lunch one day and the greeting we got was awesome.   We got seated and the server did not know we were there so we asked the manager for the server and wow did he come to bat.  He immediately took our drink order and got us a starter plate on the house which was delicious. It didn’t matter what else happened that day at your restaurant, you made our day with your attitude and dedication to service. Thanks for the positive experience.   Can’t wait to come back."

"We want to let you know how thrilled we were with our waitress Natalie.  She was the best!  She was in a great mood, smiling and happy (very genuine). She answered any questions we had and offered suggestions when asked. She always knew exactly when to come to our table and made sure our glasses of iced tea and water were filled. Natalie explained the drink specials, specifically the pineapple cosmo with the vodka-infused pineapple made in the restaurant, and I was sold.  It was delicious!  With service like this, we will definitely be back and will tell others to come as well. (Of course, the food was great too!)"
